Get ready to take flight on Masi's Alare! Masi's light, stiff MA4 double-butted aluminum frame has plenty of get-up-and-go, and Masi's corner-carving Elite carbon fork smooths road chatter to keep you feeling fresh. The Brev M aluminum wheels roll fast and smooth, while the grippy Kenda tires let you descend with total confidence. And, you'll rule the pavement with Shimano's Sora drivetrain, a setup that boasts quick, easy shifts and 18 hill-topping gears. Powerful Tektro brakes reign in your speed, and it all meshes seamlessly with high-quality Brev M components for a pro-level fit and ride.

I'm a 57 year old trying to stay fit and keep up with my triathelete son (sort-of). I decided to ditch my spongy hybrid and find a reasonably comfortable, affordable road bike. The Masi Alare is the answer. It added an average 6mph overnight, made metric centuries a snap, and climbs pretty well, too. Also, the deep pearl white is easy on the eyes.
